On December 08, 2014 at the Ministry of Commerce, H.E Sok Puthyvuth togethered with board members, executive operation members and advisors attend the quarterly meeting with Ministry commerce presided over H.E Sun Chanthol, Minister of Commerce to discuss the progress and current issue of Cambodian rice industry. The meeting also participated from high ranking officials of ministry of commerce as well as representatives from the Ministry of Finance and Economy and National Supreme Economic of Cambodia.  

 
At the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), Oknha Chan Sokheang, Chairman of Board of Director of the Cambodia Rice Federation and Co-Chairman of Working Group "I" on "Paddy-Rice," representing the private sector—alongside private sector working group co-chairs and vice-chairs of the Private Sector Coordinating Committee led by Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Private Sector Coordinating Committee for the Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF) mechanism—attended an inter-ministerial meeting.
Oknha Chan Sokheang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF), and Oknha Lay Chhun Hour, President of the Cambodia Rice Federation, attended the 15th-anniversary celebration of Amru Rice (Cambodia). The 15th-anniversary event was held under the high presidency of H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as CEO of the Rural Development and Agriculture Bank (RDAB).
On the morning of Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Novotel Phnom Penh, Oknha Lay Chhun Hour, President of the Cambodia Rice Federation, attended and delivered the opening keynote at the  Sustainable Agri-Food Conference 2026 held under the theme "Scaling Up Low-Carbon Rice Production." The event was presided over by H.E. Toch Bun Hour, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries; H.E. Dr. Mey Kalyan, Senior Advisor to the Supreme National Economic Council and Chairman of the Board of the Cambodia Agriculture Cooperative Corporation (CACC); H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as CEO of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB); and Oknha Song Saran, Honorary President of the Cambodia Rice Federation and CEO of Amru Rice, alongside 150 participants from various relevant institutions.

Mekong Oryza Trading firm extended rice export volume to East China Fujian province after signing the agreement with Fuzhou Yifeng rice firm to send a year’s 30,000 tones of milled rice from Cambodia to supply increasing demand for 2015.
The amount is the additional quantity to 100,000 tones of milled rice, which ministry of Commerce signed memorandum of understanding with Chinese counterpart for exporting until April, 2015.
