Phnom Penh Autonomous port issued a notice of fee discounts accent on the pitch (LoLo Charge) on agricultural exports Cambodia to other countries from 01 September 2015 onwards neck. Discounts on the pitch accent (LoLo Charge) USD 36.00 (not including VAT10%) per 20 ft container for boat exports of all agricultural goods through the port except rubber.

In Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China, Oknha Lay Chhun Hour, President of the Cambodia Rice Federation, led a delegation comprising five Vice Presidents of the Cambodia Rice Federation to pay a courtesy call and hold a working discussion with the China Oil and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO). The meeting was also attended by H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge and CEO of the Rural Development Bank, together with his colleagues.

On 23 June 2015, the Global Market Promotion Executive Committee​(GMP​ Exco) of CRF organized its 10th Exco meeting at CRF Secretariat office, Phnom Penh.

At Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra Hotel, the Cambodia Rice Federation organized its 4th General Assembly and the election of the Federation’s President, as well as the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors for the 5th mandate. The opening ceremony was presided over by Her Excellency Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, and His Excellency Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The closing ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance.

 

 

 At the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Oknha Chan Sokheang, Chairman of the Board of the Cambodia Rice Federation and Co-Chair of Working Group “I” (Rice Sector) representing the private sector, together with Oknha Lay Chunhua, President of the Cambodia Rice Federation, attended the Cambodia Agriculture Forum, which was presided over by H.E. PHNOM PENH, Nov. 20  2014-- Fragrant rice from Cambodia and Thailand was awarded the world's best rice for 2014 during the 6th World Rice Conference here on Thursday.

Jeremy Zwinger, president and chief executive officer of the Rice Trader, which organized the competition, said 25 rice samples from 15 countries and regions including Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Myanmar and the  United States joined the contest.

On Friday, 20 March 2026, in Auckland, New Zealand, the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF), led by Oknha Lay Chhun Hour, President of the Cambodia Rice Federation, attended and signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce Representative Office Auckland, led by Mr. Khuy Michael, Chairman of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce in Auckland, New Zealand. The ceremony was presided over and witnessed by H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia in charge as CEO of the Agriculture and Rural Development Bank.

Cambodia Rice Federation with 14 Members companies such Loran, Khmer Food, QC, ToT, Boost Riche, Lim Kheang Hout, City Rice, Indochina Rice Miller, International Rice Trading, Lor Eak Heng Sek Meas, White Gold, Signature of Asia, Amru, Mekong Oryza, attend the 50th - World No 1, Food Exhibition called Salon International de l'alimentation -SAIL held in Paris from 19 to 23 October 2014. It is a first time for Cambodian rice exporters as well as Cambodia to attend this world event within the last 50 years. There are 6300 booths from 105 countries and around 150,000 high profile and professional visitors attended this event.

During the workshop, Mr. Sok Puthyvuth presented about the opportunities and potential of rice sector in Cambodia. The workshop organised by MEDEF Paris, Adepta and Cambodia France Chamber of Commerce (CFCC). The workshop chaired by H.E Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister, Minister of Commerce and participated from 60 investors, journalists and rice exporters.
