From 25-26 January 2016, CRF FORUM in Partnership with Federation of Associations for Small and Medium Enterprises of Cambodia (FASMEC), organized the 5th Cambodia Rice Forum at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Resident to create a national rice platform
Cambodia Rice Festival Day 2016 was successful organized by CRF on 24 January,2016 at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Resident. CRF’s President, H.E. Sok Puthyvuth and Oknha Te Taingpor, president of FASMEC, gave a welcome speech and thanked participants who attended in Cambodia Rice Festival Day 2016.

On December 03, 2015, President of the Federation of Cambodian Rice Mr. Sok Puthyvuth and Secretariat team met and talked with members (millers) in Prey Veng, Kampong Cham and Thbong Khmum province at Prey Veng Chamber of Commerce.

On 17th November, 2015, CRF’s President, Mr. Sok Puthyvuth attended in a workshop on sharing experiences on rice sector development for poverty reduction at Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Loas PDR.

On 11th November 2015, President of Cambodia Rice Federation, Mr, Sok Puthyvuth led a study tour to Center produced rice of LBN group at Stong District, Kampong Thom, with a warming welcome by Oknha Lim Bunna who is the director of LBN group.

In the afternoon of November 11, 2015, President of CRF, Mr. Sok Puthyvuth led the 9th Board meeting with 17 participants included board members, representatives of board members, and staff at CRF meeting room.

Phnom Penh Autonomous port issued a notice of fee discounts accent on the pitch (LoLo Charge) on agricultural exports Cambodia to other countries from 01 September 2015 onwards neck. Discounts on the pitch accent (LoLo Charge) USD 36.00 (not including VAT10%) per 20 ft container for boat exports of all agricultural goods through the port except rubber.
From 10-12, November, 2015, Mr. Him Khortieth and Mr. Phun Khemra, CRF’s staff member are attending in a three day regional workshop on Leveraging Rice Sector for Poverty Reduction in the Greater Mekong Subregion at Peninsula Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
